Jenni, she was supposed to be Misty but the vet thinks it is a boy so he is now Smokey.  I was telling Deb on another thread, the vets still not absolutely sure (??a vet!), but the kitten is very tiny - he is the runt of the litter and his bits are very tiny .

I bought toys for him but the OH brought home a table tennis ball and Smokey plays with that more than anything.  I'm going to check out Pet Stock here as I really want a tunnel for him.

I still don't trust our cavalier with him - she licks the kitten and nuzzles it but when it runs, she darts at it so I am keeping them apart when we're not able to supervise.  I'm hoping as the kitten gets bigger, they will become good friends.  Our other old dog (bichon/**bleep**zu) is 14yo and has lived with cats before so he doesn't take much notice.

I know what you mean about confirming the  little bits on young  kittens...My vet once vaccinated and vet checked some baby kittens we had and one of them went to his new home as  sherlock ..later we heard sherlock turned out to be a Sherlene and even my vet didnt discover that ..LOL..Smokey looks so cute...Pet stock has some really cool toys for cats and tunnels also

thats great ..Beany will love itAnother inexpensive great thing to have is an instant scratching post with pieces of fire wood..cats love the natural wood feel
