This certainly appears to be the result on political threads.

Instead of addressing the issue, posters insult those who have a different opinion.

It doesn't need to be direct, but with supposed humour, or giving them childish nicknames

To me, this  juvenile behaviour reflects on the character and mindset of the poster.

locking threads and posting warnings when a thread get interpersonal

works a treat ...not !!

 

the political threads are just baiting threads now ..IMHO

just an excuse to have a go ...
