Controversy is good as long as it does not sink to the depths of diatribe, which unfortunately is the fate of most controversial topics.

 

The art of debate in it's true sense is virtually non existent.

Entertain us with some interesting threads then.

I see examples of this behaviour time and time again.

Its so bad now you are not game to respond to a poster for fear of pack attack or mass reporting, thread derailing or the kiss of death,  mods asking for "polite posting" or words to that effect.

 

Debate is dead, abuse reigns, name calling is king.

What's the point anymore?

The few posting atm are just interesting in pollie bashing and saying the same carp over and over in every thread.

Maybe all it needs is for someone to start the ball rolling, tip you're in.

I tried bumping the very few non politics threads today, did'nt last long until the other threads wre bumped and again all up the top.

Is there anyone left here that wants to do something other than C&P?

Well my day has been constructive, i've made 8 freezing lots of slow cooked lamb stew, 4 freezing lots of Rogan Josh with jasmine rice. I've done my Mother's washing and ironing and delivered it out to her, i've done my early morning 1 hr walk, the OH has had my nanna nap *cranky face*. Now, I want to be entertained
