It seems that like other independents who have displeased certain conservative elements Jeff Brock has been subjected to death threats.

former MPs Oakeshott and Windsor were also threatened with death by disgruntled conservative thugs and thugettes when in the parliament. are these elements running the LNP these days ? it seems the prevailing ignorance of the westminster system many conservatives display manifests itself in acts or threats of violence. one would hope the parliamentary liberal party would apologise for their rogue members, but it hasn't happened yet..

I saw on twitter that one of the 61 tax paid spin doctors was caught using fake twitter accounts to troll greens and labor members.

If one was caught, I'm sure many more are paid to do exactly that.

what i don't understand is why the PM and the attorney general don't come out strongly and condemn these hoodlums . The conservative columnists and shock jocks have been silent on the issue as well .. does this mean they condone the behaviour ?

I understand why. It's ok to be a bigot...people who hold those views would also stand up for the rights of thugs.

don't they know its a two way street ? throwing around unsubstantiated accusations about union officials but silent when a fellow conservative threatens a mans life ? it seems hypocritical to me.

That's because it is hypocritical.

We can't expect more from a govt where the minister for women is a male, the environment minister is a climate change denier, the science minister is gone, the speaker runs a crooked house, the human rights appointment lobbies for the removal of human right commission and the attorney general goes in to bat for bigots.

Never ending hypocrisy and bad government

Plus...they haven't managed to pass any legislation in six months.

So glad they're finally growing some and adopting the dirty tricks and deeds of Labor and the criminal union arm.. For too long they have played fair and decent but nice guys finish last.

Don't like their own medicine iykwim.

Wonder how long Williamson will get and they haven't even started on the NSW labor scum yet.

Wasn't Thomson convicted today??
