Purple, when I went to juniors school in England we also used inkwells and nibbed pens but I think we switched over to pens. How messy was that!
When I came to Australia it was a biro.

Back when my eldest son joined the Navy in Fremantle WA, in 1971.
He passed away at the age of 53.

This one was back when I lived in Melbourne. I took this pic before I had even heard of a digital camera so this is a scan.
Taken on the day that I believe was the first day they ever turned on the lights at the MCG. Nice cigarette advertising!

Back when my first Great-grandson was being watched by his two faithful guardians Penny and Storm. Storm has gone to doggy heaven and my GGson is starting Highschool next year.
