Thanks for that DDU and I'm still puzzled. One thing I'm sure of though is that Mr Billy Crowe jumped on her 4 times in 30 seconds this morning :^O

On a lighter note, I think possibly my very first hen I got, the one I got as a chick has layed her first egg? Well there was a lighter than normal large egg on the shelf today.

😞 The fox fed on a few of mine overnight .. the boy locked them up but didn't notice a few were out and about.

stupid fox .. he's on my radar ...

I have 2 definite and a bunch of maybes ... none of the lost ones were roosters .. and I have one hen with a very dodgy looking set of tail feathers .. must have got into our yard before the fox got her. The alpacas protect them.
