Joono it did happen here in the country, that's what started those deadly fires a couple of years ago on that very hot and windy day.. The lnes were owned by a Singaporian company in that case

& yes, as you say, disastrous in country areas  its so dry here as well

Stringers, I'm in a cranky mood ๐Ÿ˜„

You see, I know this recovering alcoholic who is struggling to make ends meet. He does woodwork for a hobby, to keep his mind off the grog. Anyway, he talks and talks about his woodwork and mentioned how he wished people would buy it from him.

So I asked him to build me a lamp table, 45 cm square, for $100.00.

Today he brought it to my house, criez!!!

It's a metre long, about a metre high and made from ugly plywood...with lumps of filler in old nail holes...and different coloured legs...and UGLY

And $150.00

Lol!

It's so big and ugly and heavy he brought a friend to help him carry it inside.

My next problem is working out how to dispose of it without offending him. He'll see it if I chuck it on the verge haha
.

Cries...CLAIR,!!! Get here and help!!

It looks like something rejected from a yr 7 woodwork class.
.

Give it to your son for his birthday.............and tell him that was for all the sleepless nights he gave you growing up...Cat Surprised

Oh.....................pictures..............or it did not happen!

It's probably supposed to look futuristic recycled abstract.

The perfect place for an antique linen tablecloth.

Joono

It gave me a splinter rofl! It's just sooooo bad, the undersides of the ugly plywood aren't finished property and there are chunks hanging off. My foot went underneath and came out with a scratchy splinter, ugh.

But I do love the idea of giving it to my son haha!

I'll take a pic later and show you. Be warned, it might make you cry too.
.

Oh dear Karen!!

I like Flashie's idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Or can it fit in the shed with the brown snake?

Do you have a veranda?  You could put it out there and put pot plants on it.
