How disappointing for the LABOR in WA as well.

1 seat and down 5%  pretty poor as well  and the seat taht they won is

The major parties which have both suffered swings against them of around 5 per cent.

and the labor seat that they won is Joe Bullock and that could be very interesting considering his out bursts of late and the fact he likes Tony...

Donna, you are norti.  ha ha ha.

I notice they Murdoch press is saying that the Labor party crashed.

What about the LNP?   No mention of that.

Actually the swing was larger against the libs than labour by about one percent

Please note the less than 22% for labor and what was it for the LNP 35+% I think....

Labor has defended its poor primary vote of less than 22 per cent in the poll, denying that voters rejected the party because Mr Bullock - its controversial number one Senate candidate.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten said both major parties suffered as a result of voter frustration at being forced back to the polls.

"There is a lot of counting to go and we're extremely hopeful Louise [Pratt] will be re-elected," he said in a statement.

But the statement made no mention of Labor's senator-elect, Mr Bullock - a former WA secretary for the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association.

I'm keeping in mind that It was 5.49 swing against LNP & a 4.83 swing against Labor not quite 1 % but almost. Those votes went to the greens & PUP. Should make for an interesting senate

Both poor results for the 2 major parties, Clive bank rolled a seat for one of his staff members, the guy works for Clive...  Clive wants the carbon and Mining tax gone so it will help Tony

The end result is status quo LNP 3 Labor 1 and the other 2   no real news here at all

Really? I wasn't aware that the 3rd seat had been "declared" yet. Fabulous win for Scott Ludlam though, don't you think?
