Joono, pumpkin, spinach and blue cheese Wellington is beyond my skill set. Way beyond.

I do have a recipe for a roasted pumpkin and quinoa and seeds salad. It took me and friends months to nick it from a CWA member. It is her signature dish, yum yum...and we ate it at a CWA luncheon (no, I don't get invited to many, only when I'm new in town lol). We were determined to get that recipe and she was determined we wouldn't.

She kept giving us portions of the recipe with bits missing,,,so we'd complain and she'd send another part...and so on...for months haha

Until we got it.

Nah, it looks easy.  I never make my own pastry.  Frozen sheets are fine by me.  I don't use pastry that much anyway.

 

Quinoa and seeds sounds a little bit too hippy healthy for me 😄

It has pumpkin seeds, sesame and other types, sprinkled over the top....she kept telling us the wrong seeds and our teeth nearly broke on the first test cook haha

Joono, I am the same with pastry. I always use the frozen sheets. I even make feta cheese and spinach pastry big rolls 1 sheet of pastry each roll and chop them up unto slices so we're eating less pastry.

I love feta and spinach rolls, maybe I could make some too. I have tins of silver beet growing that I mostly use as green mulch and compost filler.

When I lived in the NT and had no shop, I had to make everything from scratch...OMG where did my skills go. I used to make cheese with a stocking hung over the kitchen tap....sounds awfully unhygienic haha, but it was delicious. It was yoghurt...and I had to make that, too!

We could only get 2 boxes of perishable foods a fortnight and it'd come in a little plane.... so there was never any room for fancy things after the box has essentials like milk and stuff. Dry goods came by barge and you had to order a month or two ahead. My planning skills were better back then, too lol

I have had messages about posts being removed over the past two days..2 of which haven't been removed ....and they haven't been removed..they are still there ?

Just before it was to say my PM ,Queen Oath thread was removed.

It hasn't been.

then I am blocked ...and now I am not

 

fake mod messages ...does that happen ?
