You can use metho & water to clean windows.

Metho is not a problem to dispose it is a natural

spirit & will evaporate harmlessly if poured out in

the open. 

Turps is a bit messy to dispose of as it is a light

oil but it can be used to treat any wood that is out

side in the weather. 

Nothing dangerous about Metho if it is stored properly.

It is great for cleaning diamond jewellery....I let my jewellery stand for a few minutes then give it a once over with a soft toothbrush and it looks like new.

It is also great for cleaning windows and mirrors....cheap and effective.
