If I tell someone I'll be there at a certain time I'm there almost to the minute. No matter if it's a 10 min drive or a 3 hour drive.

 

Today I would have been right on time, as usual, but I decided to put some petrol in my car. I was 6 mins late. If I hadn't had stopped for petrol I would have been right on time.
