I know it's night time, but I like to pop in and read what everyone is doing.
Easter eggs are to much chocolate. I have most of my life colourd hard boiled eggs for the children at Easter. Firstly they last a bit longer, the chhildren don't get stuffed with chocolate and boiled eggs can be used many different ways. I use food colourigs or speial egg colours, and lately I found a seller on eBay who sells the mostt beautiful pictures for eggs. Those are sleeves that pop over the boiled egg and a few seconds in boiling water the pictures wrap around the egg. Absolutely beautiful and the kids love them.
Dear Hawk, when you do come to Victoria, please let us know. We would love to meet up with you again. If you lost my email addy, just send me a PM through eBay.
Have a lovely night everyone, Erica

Good morning all.
Good to hear that bub's mum and dad have finally got an answer. Hopefully it will all settle down now. Really tough when a baby is unable to settle.
Lind, that sounds like a great idea ( the boiled egg sleeve) Might take a look on ebay, bit late for this year though.
Hawk and Annie, hope there is some peace to be found. Really really tough.xx
I hate not being able to scroll back, I forget what everyone said.
My OH is home today with a bung knee. He is too old for spending a day cutting concrete. Have a good day all.

Bad start to Easter, tail end of Cyclone Iti, 140k winds, roads closed, trees down, roofs off.
Fell sorry for people who were going on Holiday.
Died down a bit now but may rain all weekend

That's a brilliant idea Rose xx We're not into the chocolate, so it's hot cross buns and a little marshmallow rabbit each. Expecting lots of friends over the weekend and we're all prepared.
We've been watching cycone Ita on the live radar satellite as the system swept over north and south NZ, and astonishingly, now it's turned around and headed back south west. Looks like Tasmania will get some of it too, hard to believe what we are seeing!
