It's a bit low to blame the Navy personnel who only followed his instruction.

 

Did you read the one about the Indonesians saying they have reached an agreement with Australia to not send boats back, while Morrison says that's not true and he will continue to send them back?

After the gung-ho attitude of Morrison and Abbott, how can Navy personnel have the blame laid at their feet?

 

It's a pretty stupid thing to do when you are relying on these people to carry out your dirty work. I imagine that our defence forces boys might think differently about how serious they will take the governments policies.

I think it's a swipe at Morisson and abbott, for forcing navy personnel to get involved in politics.

It wasnt the defence minister who did it, but the head of Navy.

I reckon the message is "navy is independent and even if dodgy politicians tell us to do their dirty work, it doesn't mean you breach navy standards"

And I also reckon they'd predict the fallout.

How may people realise that the nautical boundary is not clear and in places it overlaps

also in places the seabed ownership invades the nautical boundaries both ways?

Apart from that our pollies are getting lower and scurvier.
