It was pretty scarey having a b-double trying to shunt me out of the way because I was sticking to the speed limit (in the left hand lane too) but gave me some pleasure when I passed him as he had to stop in the mandatory truck stop near the bottom of Greenmount Hill .... bully boy he was lol.

 

There has been a derailment between Perth and Kal which meant that many more trucks were on the road - hopefully next week it will be a little quieter lol

 

Anyway - it all worked out ok in the end.

 

Hope you manage to get away for a break over Easter - sounds  like your OH could do with the break also

Hi Laney.  I just looked at your beautiful e-card.  It was lovely and I enjoyed reading about the passion flower too! I didn't know all that stuff.

As soon as I saw that email I remembered that I dreamt I was looking after LL last night and he was swimming in the pool LOL.  He was pure white though.

 

Prim, don't feel bad.  It's a nice thing.  When I got on the train to come home on Wednesday it was pretty packed. There were three young guys who all looked kind of tough dudish and I was so surprised that one of them stood up and offered me his seat.  I did accept and I thought it was a really nice thing to do and told him so.  I did also realise what it meant. Stand up for the oldies, but I still appreciate it

How did you reunion lunch go in the city?  It was YOU wasn't it - or am I dreaming now lol 

Oops!  Yes, I knew she was a girl.  She was a good swimmer 😄

 

It was me.  It was great to see them again and it was a lovely lunch.  We have been trying to catch up just once a year even, but it took a bit longer this time with work health and holidays.  

Glad I was not having a senior moment regarding your lunch j*oono lol

 

A small group of friends who started school in kindergarten together have always kept in touch.  We went right though school together and they still have regular get-togethers back east but of course I miss out on those these days.

 

I am under threat of 'ex-communication' if I ever go back east for a visit and don't give them enough notice to arrange a reunion lol.

 

It won't happen for a while though!

I don't have any news so far, but I'll fill you in later.

I've never had fish pie, Flashie, one day I might try and cook it. Last night I copies Deb and had burgers...was it Deb? Anyway, I copied.

I'm remaking my flower garden over Easter. I made it before but people told me it is the ugliest flower garden ever lol. That's because it only had one gladioli and now they're dead stalks surrounded by weeds. I've bought some flowers from the nursery.
