Serious question.
Why?
Why would you need to ask why?

No matter how old I do or don't get rational (or any) suicide will never be an option I would take.
Never say never. I find your view very narrowminded. Although I argue one way or another vigorously in certain debates here. I always accept my world view can change and if a better argument or evidence comes along I will change with it.

I find your view extremely narrow minded. You can't accept others are entitled to a differing view to yours.
Suicide is final, you don't get to change your mind, after you have decided taken that option. I won't be taking that option and can't see any better argument or evidence that could come along in the future would change that so called narrow minded view of mine.

?:| You do know the definition of narrow mind right??? I said I'm willing to change my mind. You said you won't. I accept others are entitled to a differing view.
How do you know there would never be any better argument or evidence that could come along for you???

I am not being narrow minded on what I think others should or don't do. I am speaking only of what I would do. I can't see how that is narrow minded, if it is, so be it.

Let me spell it out for you. Do you say there's absolutely zero possibilty, you will never change your mind, never? We're not talking now or tomorrow, it could be in 10, 20 years or later.
NO CHANCE whatsoever? We can assume there may be better argument and evidence that'll likely come along. NO CHANCE right?

Right, no chance. Do you think most people keep a suicide option on their mind in case their life gets too hard?

Why would you need to ask why?
It was serious, it wasn't intended to be mean - you said you would never contemplate suicide - and I have no problem with your stance, I was just curious how or why other people had that stance - you just happened to be the one who made the statement.
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

see, now you're missing my point(s)
why does it have to be because life is hard?
why, just because of some freak of nature we were put on this earth, does it mean we have to stay here against our wishes?
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

No, I bet most don't. But most people accept if put into a position, they'll have the humility to accept their opinion can change if not now but maybe open to that possibility.
I RULLY don't think you understand what narrow minded means.
