Tas we have had heaps of rain and a couple of little country towns have almost been wiped out near Greymouth.

Lots of flooding and trees down, the rivers are all over flowing, one thing about Nz we have plenty of water 🙂

Rain stopped and I went down to the beach to put my feet in the water. heaps of seaweed on the beach, the children are still swimming, a  hardy lot 🙂

Tonight the rain poured down again, has stopped now.

Lilli managed to get out when the rain stopped to inspect the new house being built next door.

The people that are shifting in have a little dog so that will keep her out.

I have eaten three easter buns today yum

My son and his partner have adopted Mindy ( purebred toy poodle) who needed rehoming. I have a new grand doggie for my doggie day care. 🙂

Hope the weather is much better Lion.

Katy, started off nice and sunny this morning, now I can hear the thunder in the hills and the sky is going dark, looks like another storm coming.

Funny still blue sky over the beach, black sky over the hills.

Well hopefully it will blow away Lion. I bet the ground has taken as much water as it can by now.

Good morning all.

Bit of a busy week just gone, and a little time into the future too. Three april birthdays, and one anniversary. 

It was our anniv. yesterday and we went out for a nice meal. Best part is not having to clean up afterwards!

Today we are going to son's for lunch, so I have just made a pav. First time in the food processor, and that went well. Sort of.

The pav is lovely and crispy on the outside, gooey in the middle, but having a little trouble holding itself together. 🙂

Supposed to be GOOD MORNING and all that, but given the fast pace of today with visitors etc on this Easter Sunday (and a houseful of musicians right now), well, the best I can do is right now before I have to go and join them xxx

Here is a picture of the Easter cupcakes that I made and decorated, or at least, the last dozen which are about to get gobbled when they have supper after rehearsal tonight  Altogether, I made five dozen and so help me, it gave new meaning to "scoff 'em down" .... 

I didn't make the bunnies, chicks or handles of course, they were purchased.

It's hilarious watching folks get the cakes out of the paper cups because I poured real chocolate on top as frosting and you can imagine the rest ....
