New Board Usage Policy

Discussion boards usage policy

Does anyone know

1) What is a Community Project?

2) What is a Group Project, and

3) "Posting web addresses (URLs), websites, or item numbers in the title of a post or threaded discussion"

"or threaded discussion" => Does this mean no links to things in our posts?

CM.  That is not the Australian duscussion boards policy.  I think it is the US one on their site.

Also, I think that the malicious reporting policy has been around for a loooong loooong time.

Joono

It's not on the old one?

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

Yes it is.  I'll find the link for you.

Joono

So that is why it is different to the one on the side bar, it is not the one for ebay.au.

That malicious reporting one isn't in the current Au one ( 2009,last time it was updated)

Nah, it applies here, just the links must still be broken?

Not sure, I told Livish, but nothing seems to have been fixed by the looks.

regardless, is anybody able to answer the questions in the OP?

Anybody know what those terms mean?

Actually, you are quite right.  It is on the US one but not on the Australian one.  The Australian one hasn't been updated for donkey's years.

I don't suppose ebay au can do something about that? Do we need some ebay employees to also take a major role in the community?

Joono

It's been with the legals since forever, it's just taken this long to get approved, I guess? I don't know. But regardless, do you know the answers to the questions in the OP
