we supposed to have figured out what the hints supposed to be and read minds now are we?

so if you knew there was no solution, why post the question? i answered the question in text - straight , no fantasies

Joz, It was not meant to be a competition and you are a winner, more so than the ones who only put effort into Google.

 

I have no doubt that the ones who quietly whistled away had put effort int that problem as well in the past.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The puzzle is to draw a continuous line which passes only once through each line in the figure.

 

as I said, I've been puzzled for years by this and then this morning when having a cup of coffee, I actually worked out how to do it; no googling invloved. it is possible. 🙂
