Perfect weather for a sleep in here - and I did.

 

Only just caught up on your 'couch trials' Flashie - others might have dealt with them in an entirely different manner - your sense of humour is classic.

 

Deb you have a couple of difficult days ahead but as Flashie said - celebrate their lives - and give thanks for them being in yours.

I am not downplaying the sadness you must be feeling - just trying to shine some light into those dark corners in your days at the moment.

Nics - hope you are feeling much improved and soon heading homeward.

 

Prim - hope the day and week ahead don't take too much out of you.

Evening Stringsters & Mia`s.Nice to be home and back with Oscar he has been asleep on my bed for 4 hours &  I don`t think he wants to move...one spoilt dog!!Once I open the pantry door he will be in the kitchen quick as a flash...he knows the routine..lol

Thankfully no pneumonia(wrong prognosis by emergency doctor)and ct scan okay, it seems I have an upper respirtory(sp) tract infection but because I have Copd they wanted to get on top of it quickly.....Sad to see that Deb you have a couple of funerals to attend this week..a very sad time for everyone..stay strong lovely lady..Thanks for everyone`s good wishes too

Lazy sort of day here. i went to bed very lte last night and din't get up till 11.00 this morning. Ah, the joys of retirement.

Thanks everyone, it at least was a beautiful day here in Melb. And the service I attended this morning was lovely. It was a friend of mum & dad's, a lady I've known all my life. I must say you really have to,hand it to that generation who were born not long after the Great Depression and then thrust into the 2 nd world war. A very special generation of people.

Good to hear you're back at home Nic and take care of yourself.
