well that evil god could be a bit or a rascal i guess.... might even be a bit of a devil hey! 😉

This thread reminds me of a tweet I read the other day concerning the Boston bombing. After the Sandy Hook school massacre, Christians by the boatload were blaming it on God's judgement over the fact that "we have taken God out of our schools". The tweet said something like "Why isn't anybody blaming the Boston bombing on us having taken God out of our marathons?" Lol.

The "free will" argument might work in a case like this, but it fails when it comes to natural disasters that take the lives of countless people. In those cases, there is no "choice" being made by anybody.

We are responsible for all that goes wrong, unless the planet decides to upheave and then it is a natural disaster for humans, nothing to do with God.

The disasters, destructions, killings, murders and wars are all MAN made and the more people that are born on this planet the more it will happen because, just like rats in a confined cage, as we are forced to live closer and closer to eachother, the more destructive we become.

God gave men and women FREE WILL, he gave them life.  It is up to them how the choose to live their life, and what they choose to do with their free will.

So by your statement, God does not intervene. He'll just watch and do nothing. 

You're probably aren't aware of the philosophical arguments. If we have free will, then God cannot be omnipotent and omnicient.
