I changed my password last night, had no problems doing it. Was sent the email from ebay with the link to click on to do the changing of my password within 2 minutes of me putting in my request to do so.

Bit shabby of ebay to keep it hushed up for so long though seeing as this happened in late February.

I'm going to sleep soon, so try this to change your password....

My ebay (at the top)>>>My ebay summary (in the drop down)>>>>Account tab (on the left middle side)>>>>>

Personal info (in the drop down)>>>>you should see password, right hand side click edit to change it.

Finally I got the email to change my password and so now it is done.Smiley Happy

tried unsuccessfully twice last night......never received emails back.

Jimmy, here in Australia they either send a link to your phone or email to change the password.

An extra security precaution I guess.

I changed my password on both my id's yesterday doing it the way Jimmie said and I had not problem, I did not have to wait for ebay to send me an email.

I went into my ebay account and had to give them my email addy and they sent me an email with directions to change it.

what I would like to know is what  country we were hacked from, especially when news has just broken this week about China hacking companies and stealing trade secrets

I wonder if we'll ever know?? probably not

I think it will get out into the news at some point.

I would guess it's all happened within USA.
