Yes, I think it was made up about gloria being a serial radio caller, and TA knew she was when she called.

I guess some of you don't get the art of conversation, the discussing of different ideas. I have NEVER automatically believed the worst that the media has thrown out there, they're selling.

I haven't read anywhere else that the lady " is a serial phone caller". I have an SIL who used to be an announcer on 3mp late at night and she had her regular callers who were mainly just people who listened to her program

Yes, the inference Gloria was a serial caller was only made as an excuse for TA. That he knew she was a serial caller when she phined in and that is what wink was about...umm no...that isn't true.

Abbott has already admitted he winked when she said she was a sex phone worker..and he regrets doing that and it was a mistake.

Perhaps not. I was offereing an answer as to why the reaction. Talk back radio always has serial/constant/regular callers. I suggested that the pollies all know them. From all sides.
