I have heard the latest models are good, If you have children might be cheaper than buying shop stuff, but then again all that sugar is not good for kids.

I'm just drinking the soda water without the syrup so no sugar:)

that will be okay, is it better than soda water you buy at the shops?

I bought soda water all the time. Taste exactly the same. SHould be cheaper now. Plus gives me a reason to drink more water and prevents me from drinking soft drinks.

Is there a reason why you can't just drink water fgs?

further to soda stream:

"Actress Scarlett Johansson has quit her role at the global charity Oxfam after criticism of her brand ambassador position with soft drink company Sodastream.

Sodastream has been criticised by groups such as Oxfam for producing its products in an Israeli factory in the occupied Palestinian territory."

My husband is forever buying soda water, goes through it as if he owns the factory........will let him know what you said.

One other thing, do you get a choice of how much soda you want?

OMG - I remember pestering mum and dad when they first came out - serioulsy - just did NOT think we could do without one LOL

You are, indeed, a little teeny tiny itsy bitsy little bit behind the times there bobby

you can now turn wine into champagne

Not really behind the times, just because the Soda Stream has been around for a few decades. It is still selling in the shops now, so there must be a market for it.

Drinking plain water gets boring ( I drink that mostly). I buy carbonated mineral water now for a change. Soda water and carbonated water.. you get the fizz without the sugar in fizzy drinks.

what does it cost for a replacement gas cylinder now?
