az, with the stone benchtops, are they porous? Any special instructions for keeping them stain free? Special cleaners?

woops, no, not stone, just look a like laminated ones for me!

Punch, I bought a 900mm stove, electric oven, gas hot plates, best decision I ever made, so much more room.  I changed the kitchen around here as well, put a long bench where the sink was an vice versa ( hope that makes sense )

I can't do gas, it would mean gas cylinders on the patio and I couldn't bear it, wish we had natural gas.

Az I have LPG, a big cylinder, the pipe runs under the driveway, under the house and up into the kitchen. Costs a little bit to set up but I think its worth it, I hate cooking with electricity. The dont exchange the cylinders, they just come on a regular basis and refill them.

If you spill red cordial it takes days to get the stain out some of the white stone type ones.

No natural gas here either

Not here either. I got a large gas bottle outside for the cook top. I've not needed a refill yet.

I wonder if that means I don't cook enough  :D:D

We have 2 gas bottles here, dont want to run out right in the middle of cooking a meal. Have been using one since late the beginning of Feb and it hasnt run out yet, so maybe I dont cook enough either lol

Woman Embarassedso, no sense in me having gas, cos I hate cooking and now I am using my soup maker and pressure cooker, I won't really use the stove anyway!

Since February this year?

I've had the same gas bottle since February 2011  :D:D:D

The plan was to get 2 but I didn't get around to ordering the second one. The fittings are for 2 with an auto switch over.
