Double standards

This week in Tassie a couple of health dept CEOs have been stood down for hiring a couple of friends and family (been going on for years but they were Labor appointments so seems they had to go. No comment on right or wrong).

This year we have a royal commission into the previous govt over 4 deaths during the insulation program rollout.

This year the Libs appointed as CEO of NBN Co a person who is facing charges over deaths and destruction caused by a gas line explosion. Sure he had left the company by the time the explosions happened but he was responsible for redirecting funds from safety and risk assessment to dividends and management bonuses.  And he gave jobs to a least 1 friend/former colleague.

This man has to face court in the USA over the deaths of a dozen or more people and the destruction of 40 or so houses.

How hypocritical can you get?

double standards...this mob of LNP shysters have no standards at all.

Getting over people having a go at the current government. The people of australia spoke at the last election and now they are in power. You can voice your concerns at the next election.

If you're so over it don't bother reading conversations about it.

We put up with constant spamming about the previous government for 3 years so please don't tell us to shut up now.

where did the other posts go?

We copped a plethora of posts abusing Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard and then Kevin Rudd again for years.
Mainly by the same posters with endless copying and pasting.
Over and over and over again.
So I'm sure you would agree its our turn to have a vent about Abbott and his merry team.

Next we find out about the costs that have not been taken into account in the so called cheaper version of the network.

The people of australia spoke at the last election

Yes, 53% was it?

Just because someone voted for the LNP last Sept doesn't mean they agree with the Budget and the changes they are introducing NOW. Some may also regret voting for them by now.

There is also the 47% who did not vote for LNP, who are entitled to voice their disapproval of the current Govt now and expose their broken promises, shonky deals etc.

We live in Australia, we are allowed to say what we think about things we don't agree with, whenever we choose. It isn't a dictatorship. 🙂
