It probably works the same Freddie, it sort of bubbles all the tarnish off if that makes sense

Love the blue and white one

I don't really collect anything. I have a small cabinet with some nice trios in it, but nothing special, just stuff I like that looks nice. I got put off collecting when my grandma passed away and we had to clear her house. She had so much she had collected over the years that no one wanted. It was really sad getting rid of things that had had some meaning to her. We all took something we thought "special" but the rest got tossed. I vowed then I would never put my kids through that difficult process.

I have some lovely ruby red stuff crikey, it's hard to see it all in the pictures.

Pimpy look after you own FA.

Deb, I must try soda next time I do mine.

I don't think I have ever seen stuff like that except for maybe Christmas time, and then what I have seen has been pretty gaudy, but your stuff (sorry don't know the right words for it) your stuff looks amazing.

I found a dinner set in red that I thought I liked..... until I saw that picture of your red.... makes the dinner set just look shabby and tacky, so thank you for posting the picture before I bought it LOL

*sobs*

(would love to see more of yours though, and some hints on what to search for)

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

I have a 12 setting blue willow with extra bits like coffee pot, gravy boat and saucer, vege dishes, meat plate............ but it's not really a collection, it's our best dinner set........ for special occasions ..or just occasions. Some people get a bit anxious about using it and serving them to children.

i have an old noritake dinner set that was my nans. mum had it before me and managed (on purpose) to break some of it, think it was a 12 setting, platter, gravy thing etc. i only use it at xmas because of the gold bits it can't go in the dishwasher.

Crikey, if I had the energy I would pull all my ruby red glass out of my display unit and take pictures of it, but I am going through a I can't be bothered time. I spent a week at my recently deceased brothers place clearing out his unit, so i'm kinda hating the thought of anything to do with dragging stuff out of cupboards atm. Woman Sad

Freddie did you see the ruby glass chandeliers in Larrys house on Better homes and gardens just now?

I can imagine you swinging from them
