DDU What do you think of this, something's been eating the eggs, the other morning, early one of the chickens was on the ground and an egg had been laid. The two other hens were still up on the laying shelf it was that early (am). The rooster was also on the ground.
I went to pick up the egg and it smashed in my hand so not sure if it was already cracked. Then the rooster stuck his beak in it and started eating it.
Although someone at work said it was probably the crows stealing the eggs, so we keep the door only open enough for a hen to walk in and we have shade cloth hanging over the door nearly to the ground.
Anyway today another egg has been broken so is it crows or the rooster?
He'll go straight to the chopping board if it's him X-(
