tcm, we don't live there anymore, moved about 2 years ago to the water.

But yes we did feed them daily.  It was funny because when we used to go inside, we would have lorikeets hanging off our backs, heads, arms etc.  We had to be carefull not to bring them inside as we have cats.

I must apologise for the poor quality of this image but it is a scan from a photograph taken at my father's place at Pearl Beach, NSW, about 10 years ago when John Williamson dropped in for a visit (my dad was a professional musician) and it just happened to coincide with lorikeet feeding time. 🙂

OMG I love John Williamson.  We took my mum to see him in Brisbane when he played with the Qld symphony orchestra.

That is an awesome photo also!!!!

Awwww. I fed the lorikeets at a wild animal park a few years ago. They are very motivated by food.

Simone, that shell is BEGGING for an eyeball 🙂 that would be surreal and very abstract 🙂

A nice blue or amber coloured one 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I'm not quite sure how to do that Pod.  Feel free to give it one though.  It does look like eyelashes, doesn't it?

By the way your kooka pic is brilliant and a little perplexing.

How did you manage to get both foreground and background in sharp focus?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I have no idea how I did it Pod.  I just point and click. I hate reading instructions, so I just fiddle around with the settings lol.
