I reread The Hobbit recently and enjoyed it.  But I am just a big kid. 

Not read anything worth mentioning for a while.

I can recommend a couple of good movies though.

Remains of the day - Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson.

Ladies in Lavender - Judi Dench, Maggie Smith.

Now you see me - Many good actors.

Going Clear by Lawrence Wright.

"Life in the West" by Brian Aldiss.

or for a lesser excercise in intellectualism, but for many more laughs, try anything by Terry Pratchett
