no they are mine, we have a few apples, pears and one other fruit. The Banksia fruit and the board all came from a little wood shop in Leura.

They have some fabulous things there Boris!  Their commitment to good craftmanship certainly shines.

I don't recall ever seeing a banksia tree. I don't know if we have them in the U.S.

Cq, did you see the pod pieces that Boris owns? They are gorgeous. I went to wiki to get more info. about the trees. 

LOL to the fact that they sell slices of the pods as coasters to tourist. My first thought was, I want a slice of those pods. Tourism 101: don't buy that carp. 

Yes, they're pretty amazing, aren't they? One of the few tourist items that are really worth buying IMO. 🙂
