Every time you switch the TV on, there it is. Matches, interviews, sound bites, strategies, post-mortems, interviews - even the adverts are football orientated. It surreptitiously creeps into programmes that have nothing to do with sport, and almost half the news bulletins are given over to this boring and over-the-top event. Roll on the end of July until it's well and truly dead and buried - maybe.
It seem it's only the TV stations that are in a frenzy about this circus. I certainly haven't seen any enthusiasm in the streets.
Well some people seem to love it EMB, the 2010 World Cup the average official rating was 188.4 million for each match.

To me, soccer is disorganized chaos, as is rugby, while AFL footie is only slightly better............compared to the choreographed precision of american football.

I'm not a big football fan but I think there is more action in soccer.
In American football, fifteen minutes can pass and nothing hardly happens. At least with soccer, the ball moves around.

Hi Bob.
So sorry off topic but do you ask religious stuff here in Australia? Do they have the same patience with it? I mean, I never had patience for it but I know others do.
And to stay on topic (hey, I've learned I can't be too careful lol) do you think the Americans will win if they pray really hard, with their hands on the Bible?

Then obviously you have never watched an Oregon game............and I've never seen a 0-0 tie in American football...........

Obviously you didn't see the word "can".
