Re vertical grillers, I found they took forever to get clean plus I am not really a fan of grilled meat, I find it is too dry   ...... No toast rack here either 😞   We occasionally use the sandwich toaster, I find it easy to clean off any "gunk" if you do it while it is still warm .....

My toast caddy is silver plated.

It nicely displays my warranties and booklets on how to get the best use my various superfluous and useless kitchen gadgets

Funny you say that, as I was writing about the vertical grill it occurred to me I wasnt the one that had to clean it, poor mum lol.

Toast caddies are a stupid idea, the toast goes cold and then the butter doesnt melt into it.

I remember making a pottery toast rack, I wasn't all that great at pottery, all the racks were a tad crooked lol

I'm not finding much use for my can opener these days, with ring pull cans now.

It sits at the back of my utensil drawer unused, unloved and...well...useless 😞

no problem! 🙂

taste my religion! nibble a witch! 😄

No ring pulls on my cans :(, which reminds I really need a new can opener

Magic choppers, slicers, dicers, julienne makers, bullets, and garlic presses.  I haven't owned all of them.  I would never buy anything that is advertised in an infomercial or flogged on a pop up stall in the shopping centre.

I used to love my juice fountain at first but found it was so expensive to make even one glass of juice, the clean up was atrocious and the space it took up in the kitchen cupboard was over the top.  It has gone to Bullet heaven.
