There are a few reputable colleges where I am, that teach, with hands on in the kitchen experience. So with a decent, commercial style kitchen. A friend of mine runs one. She is very much into healthy living too, organic foods, etc.
🙂She found that there was a big increase in demand after shows like MasterChef, as home cooks were inspired to try new things.
I don't know if there are free online classes, but there are definitely open University courses available online for other areas of study.
I used to teach on campus. One of my students started up an organic veggie business and did quite well, ended up doing so well he sold it to go on a few more holidays (lucky guy). He was really nice too, would drop back by to say Hi.
Never taught any kids under I guess, about 16? All Uni students.
