We go through HEAPS of toilet paper in our house so we have this huge, beautiful handwoven basket sitting on the floor to hold paper and magazines.

This job keeps him from playing with my vegemite jar cruet set.

The wicker basket next to the loo. I like it because one does not have to wrestle the plastic cover to get a roll, and it is handy to put the empty cardboard roll in to the basket.

I keep a bottle of UDY men's cologne in there too in case they need it as I can't stand the smell of air fresheners.

I've got one of those schmick stainless steel tubular ones. It matches the toilet brush holder.

MIne is a square cane basket as well, I throw the empty into the sink so I can put it straight into the bin.

My grand children know it is a sin not to put a new roll up and put the empty in the bin.

Do you hang your paper under or over hahaha

OVER!!!!!! It's gotta be OVER!!!!!!

And yes, it's sudden death in my place to anyone who leaves the empty role, or even worse 1 or 2 sheets!

My auntie many yrs ago, when they had an outside loo, use to use the old phone book pages, when that ran out, she used newspaper, too lousy to buy loo paper.

In a cane basket, there are 2 in there one for the full ones 'n one for the "emptys".
