What is the pink Himalayan salt like? Does it taste different or is it just to look pretty?
I think that salt is alot milder in taste compared to iodised table salt or the white sea and rock salt crystals. It has barely any flavour imo when you add it to water before boiling pasta or whatever. It's not offensive by any means but I've found it just has very little flavour when cooking with it. I'm a bit of a salt fiend tho so I may be a little bias ![]()
.Those lamps that hold the pink sea rocks slowly melt and fall apart over time so they can ruin furniture if you leave them on the bare surface.
