Sometimes people are sick of being judged by others who think they rate higher in the universe or consider themselves above you.  Other times it can be an excuse to continue in poor behaviour without accountability.

 

An example is in my small town you will often hear appalling gossip about others.  People get sick of it and will turn around and say 'take me or leave me its your problem'.  It's not always a negative, sometimes its the person thinking I won't be boxed as opposed to the later that I mentioned above.

 

I think another problem is that who are we to decide who needs to change anyway, who's perfect.  Maybe instead of judging people we could support them.

and as icy said,i don't live to please anyone but the people i love,who love me. and MYSELF. I'M who needs to please me first and foremost,as it should be for anyone with athe sense given a grasshopper,lol!:D

and seriously,if this relates to an off ebay group,i'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to discuss those on the ebay boards,just so you know. i wouldn't want you to get in trouble because of little old ME,lol!

do you REALLY think my small self could destroy a group? frankly,i'm flat out astounded that ANYONE could think i have that sort of power with just my personality,but i'll take it as a compliment,lol! 😄

In most groups you get someone that is a pita. The choice us to put up with them or leave the group. Or depending on what type of group it is, tell the person causing the angst, they are no longer welcome in the group. Or if it was a small private group of friends, regroup and leave the other person out.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree. The OP has made it clear her issue is not ebay board related. The OP posts here fairly regularly and is not known for making digs (sly or obvious) about any other members here. She usually posts about events in her everyday real life.

I would even assume the OP is referring to a group in real life in her local area.
