I have to say this because it keeps going over and over in my head, the words are it has been gunned down, driving me crazy

I thought you agreed with the mystery theory paints ?

Sorry, not reading though this whole thread again, I thought it was you, if I am wrong, my apologies.Smiley Happy

Sad as it sounds, I doubt this is ever going to be resolved - I don't think there is a chance in hell of finding anything now, let alone an explanation, it has been too long.

I feel for the families, it must be unbeleivably hard.

I genuinely believe it will eventually turn up. Remember the passenger aircraft that crashed and was missing in the US for over 2 years, and was eventually discovered only 14 miles from a heavily populated area? You wouldn't think it possible, but that's exactly what happened, and if MH370 came down on rugged terrain somewhere, it could very easily lie undiscovered for years.

Update:

The chief of the world's biggest international airline has grave concerns that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 will be given up as lost as part of an international cover-up.

"Many mathematicians have done extensive calculations and have detailed them in their emails to me," Sir Tim said.

"None believe the current hypothesis. We must get to the truth."

"My instincts tell me something is wrong and there are far too many questions that are unanswered," he said.

Sir Tim is perplexed by the total lack of debris.

"When a plane crashes into the sea there is always debris that will float, yet none has been found despite a mammoth search," he said.

"We haven't seen a single thing that suggests categorically that this aircraft is where they say it is - nothing."
