pimpy - I think you could still say No, its not, if a poster asks is that wally in post xx on the photo/chat thread as wally's whereabout would still be unkown. I guess it just narrows down the field abit.

I think it best if you let people know on the photo challenge thread, what to do when they think they find him.. post in the photo thread or  the chat thread or email you.

Who would have thought the find wally gig would cause so much angst?

I think they are a type of Ringneck.

There are a few subspecies, I don't know which one in particular they would be. I was thinking the 28 birds but Roses have more yellow on the breast, so maybe it's a Port Lincoln ringneck

TCM I've always known the birds as 28's, here's a link to a bit more info as to why they are known as 28's.

I have been in a quandry about this for sometime. If someones says Is that wally in blah blah and it's not, then I say it's not so they can keep looking. By not responding it kind of indicates that it is Wally, so it the jig is up anyway.
