Community Spirit
Can really get with it
By posting a ditty,
A poem or a limerick.
It doesn't need to rhyme
Or be more than two lines
It can be sad or funny
About sunshine or bunnies.
The one with most kudos wins
There will also be a "judge's pick"
The judge is me and there will be
No dissent from thee or thee 😉 😉 😉
So, grab your pen and paper, too
Find inspiration from what's around you
Or go back to the past or into the future
Write on haute cuisine, or even haute couture 🙂

At first I thought what I needed to make my kitchen the best
Was something as humble as a spoonrest,
But as time went on my desires grew bolder
I yearned to own - a teabag holder!
Alas! My gadget lust was far from sated…
Feverishly I flicked through catalogues with breath bated,
I jmade the discovery that to be truly bourgeois
I needed to possess a shiny chinois!!!
But not just any old chinois will do,
Something so common may be fine for you
But what I crave, nay, what I demand
Is a shiny chinois with a stand!!!!
