The reports I’ve heard was it was a bus charted by the school.

I'm not sure which school you are referring to because there were supposedly students from three different Jewish schools on board.  So if it was chartered only for school children from those three schools, wouldn't that mean the teens that were taking part in this verbal assault, taking into account they were in school uniforms, had bus passes and were "allowed" to be on the bus must've been students from one of these schools that the bus was chartered to? 

Just for the record the article states; 

All three schools and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry all declined to comment on how many students had stayed home on Thursday and how the school communities were responding to the attack.

I think that answers my question.

I respect your opinion. What I don't respect is the anti Semitism rife on cs and rife in the wider public.

 I don't respect the people who have been attacking and disrupting the Max Brenner shops for years in this country.

I respect your opinion Lightning, I dont necessarily agree with you, but I respect your right to stand up for what you believe in. 

But for the forth time now, please quote the anti-semitic content on this forum.  I think if you are going to accuse people of being anti-semites you can pin point where it is coming from.  Furthermore I think if there was rife anti-semitism displayed here the mods would very quickly lock the threads that displayed it, because I'm pretty sure it goes against Ebay policy...

To simplfy the question; does anyone know what schools the "attackers" were from? My assumption due to the statements from several articles is that they were from one of the three schools the bus was chartered to.  

I didn't say that. I'm just trying to figure out how these youths could've been allowed on a bus that was chartered to three private jewish schools.

I don’t think you appear to have the slightest idea from where I’m coming from.

I couldn’t care less to which school the attackers belonged.  I couldn’t care less if they were black, white, brindle or Marian.

My posts are directed toward one thing and one thing only. The conduct of the driver.

He was the adult in charge.  The safety and wellbeing of those children, all of those children, was his responsibility.  Now either he didn’t know what was happening, which makes him rankly incompetent, or he did know, in which case, as he did nothing, makes him gutless.

Now I would hold that view, if the bus was full of children going to an Islamic School, or bus load of kids from a Catholic School, or a bus load of Aboriginal children or in fact any child on any school bus irrespective of race, religion, colour or creed, and irrespective of my views as to what their parents might have done (or not done), or what their race or religion has done, or might not have done.

That is, the conduct of the drive was reprehensible in the extreme. In simular circumstances,  I have, in the past, stepped in and would do so again.  I expect the same of others.  These are the values I was taught as a child, These are the values I will take to the grave.
