"someone suggested on radio that the coalition won't do anything about skills visas and 457 visas as the main beneficiaries are business with cheap workers."
"someone" could be correct. Remember Poor Me, when she imported a 457 Visa communications director John McTernan?.
Previously she had said " people on 457 visas are taking the jobs of everyday Australians,"

Remember who?
Why do you keep saying poor me in the middle of random sentences? It's rather hard to understand the point you're trying to make.
Did you want the job and get overlooked for a 457 visa candidate or something? I thought you said you were retired.
And why can't you keep the pesky junk mail signature in the signature box so those who choose the no siggies option are not spammed by junk siggies all the time?

You can't board a plane without a valid passport and a visa for entry into Australia.
So all the 120.000 that came in that way melted into the community and the Rudd/
Gillard fiasco did squat about it.
When will it ever end? never, like herpes Labor just keeps on giving.
No how about we get this straight -
Whilst Rudd was in ofice and the Liberal Party kept bleating on and on about "illegal" boat arrivals, Rudd continued to bring up that we had a bigger problem with LEGAL entries overstaying their visa. And there were quite a few threads about it on here too. The statistics have always been out in the open - something like 50,000 people overstay their visa every year. But why didn't Abbott think this was an issue? Oh yeah that;s right! It was/is because the majority are westerners.
The public campaign from Abbott about "Illegal" boat arrivals eclipsed any other issue.
I am wondering what Abbott/Morrison has done to address this this year. Given that they gave so much energy and thought to boat arivals, I am assuming they also addressed this issue similarly?
Perhaps Lightning or Nero could locate the policy that includes the Liberal Party's strategies on this topic?
My answer is to the topic not what you want it to be. You can't enter Australia by plane without a valid passport. Got it.?

Fortunately for us MM is allowed to post what he likes with any graphic he chooses. Just because it doesn't jell with you and your peeps, you cannot stop any poster from posting what they want as long as it's within the guidlines of cs. Poor ![]()
