I remember the days when there was an auction bomber who targeted posters on the boards (mainly Chinwag?). They left obscene feedback. They were charged with an offence relating to this.That was my reason for getting a posting ID.

I have never had anything but this id LT...haven't even changed my avatar for over 5 years....but if you know someone pretending to be me under another id I would love to know so I can "out" them??

I remember that too am3, and I don't blame any seller who has a posting id.

 

I also remember people getting multiple ids when ebay rules restricted the number of posts on the forums/day in people with less than 10 feedback.

I seem to recall a fair degree of disharmony on the Photograph thread when multiple IDs were used to enable certain posters to give more than one vote to a photo.

No witch hunt.. Especially when posters with 2 posting ids, forget to change ID and out themselves. LOL.

I don't know what freddie is referring to. Obviously it is a big enough concern of hers to start a 'general' thread about multiple posting ids, and propose a rule change, nothing wrong with doing that.

What is going on as of now? Not months ago.....

 

There are a few posters who use dozens of ids, both on this board, and the U.S. boards. 

 

While I might find it a bit odd, and often silly.... I just have to figure that they have their reasons for doing that. 

 

Was someone talking to themselves today? I didn't see it. I am fairly new here, so most of the Australian posters are new to me anyway.

 

I know many of the U.S. posters who have traveled the seas, over to your board.

Agree. A funny thing happened recently last cpl days.

 

I got a kudo from paintsew but it had your avi pic with it.

 

I thought that weird.

 

Must've been some ebay stuff-up.
