WHY?
Is this the age of welfare and handouts entitlement I see from you...
2 years ago we never had the school kids bonus until labor hand a thought bubble and decided to give away more of our money to people who dont have to account for it at all and can spend it and waste it as they see fit....
2 years ago if you spent X dollars up to a set amount on your kids schooling you kept the receipts and claimed it on your tax.....
And now we see comments like yours and the welfare hand out mentality continues to grow in this country
This is MY tax dollars and I object to this handout to the welfare mentality....

we haven't had any kids at school for a few years so we never had the current school kids bonus. like you we used reciepts against our tax. If you have a few kids going to school at the same time ( & most people do) it's expensive!
that tax receipt system was OK too, so if they revert back to that that's OK by me. as long as they as they have something in place

Clive Palmer goes on rant against China on Q&A, claims China govt are ‘mongrels’ who kill their own people and want to take over Australia
On Q&A last night, Mr Palmer likened the Chinese government to “mongrels” and called them “b*stards” who wanted to “take over our country”.
In a broad spray the maverick MP accused the “communist Chinese government” of trying to take over Australia’s ports to steal the nation’s natural resources. “I don’t mind standing up against the Chinese **bleep**s and stopping them from doing it,” he said on Q&A.
Yep kill our biggest trading partner..... 131 BILLION a year worth of trade between us and China..... Clive sure is not helping...
Penny Wong silent
Clive Palmer plays the race card as Labor’s Penny Wong, herself Chinese, sits by without a single protest or mention of 18C:
In a broad spray the maverick MP accused the “communist Chinese government” of trying to take over Australia’s ports to steal the nation’s natural resources. “I don’t mind standing up against the Chinese **bleep**s and stopping them from doing it,” he said on Q&A....
He said ... he’d keep up the fight against the “Chinese mongrels”.
“I’m saying that because they’re communist, because they shoot their own people, they haven’t got a justice system and they want to take over this country,” he said.
The Chinese “**bleep**s” Palmer refers to are in this case his own Chinese partners. The take-over of this country he denounces is the investment he himself sold them.

Go Clive!
Palmer is telling the truth. Got the experience, b*lls and guts to tell it like it is. It is not racism btw....this is how the Chinese do business fgs - money orientated all the time, intensely focused, charming but cut throat and ruthless.
Mr Palmer will do well in politics ONLY because most of the rest of them, on all sides of the paddock are just a bunch of mamby-pamby, lying, inexperienced in business and life, idiots intent on saying whatever Murdoch, Banksters, Corporate and favoured lobby groups (e.g. Real Estate mob) tell them to say......not saying what is best for Australia and majority of Australians.
So, while these 'children' continue taunting each other with "My Daddy's going to beat up your Daddy....." s hit Clive Palmer will do well telling it how it is and telling the Australian public what they want to hear.
I would not want to see Mr Palmer as PM....but I would prefer him to Abbott![]()
Penny Wong is a brilliant, acutely intelligent and graceful lady whom I hope will lead our country Australia oneday in the very near future - just hope many other voters can see what is clearly visible to me.
Penny Wong is not 'Chinese' btw, she was born in Malaysia. Her Father is a Malay-Chinese and Mother of European descent.
Check your sources nero but I think you will discover that Penny Wong is Australian.LOL !!

So again you take attack Wong based on someone elses opinion instead of watching yourself. Wong, at least twice tried to interject and they just shouted over her. By the end of the rant it was clearly time to move on and answer the final question not drag the focus back to Palmer.

How scary is Jacqui Lambie and her puppet master and she holds one of the ballance of power in Australia.
Jacqui Lambie backs Clive Palmer with warning of Chinese ‘invasion’
THE Palmer United Party has intensified its attacks on China, with its Tasmanian senator Jacqui Lambie warning of the danger of an invasion of Australia, as she backed Clive Palmer’s criticism of “Chinese mongrels”.
Senator Lambie called for defence spending to be doubled to prevent Australians being enslaved by a “totalitarian foreign power” with a history of military aggression.
Hitting back following criticism of Mr Palmer’s initial remarks, Senator Lambie accused the two major parties of failing to defend the country against the rising threat.
“If anybody thinks that we should have a national security and defence policy, which ignores the threat of a Chinese Communist invasion — you’re delusional and got rocks in your head,” she wrote in an email to the media
“The Communist Chinese military capacity and level of threat to the western world democracies is at an unprecedented and historical high.
“They come at a time when Australian military spending and capacity is at historic lows. (Thanks to Labor and the Greens)
“Today China is controlled by an aggressive, anti democratic, totalitarian government. We need to double the size and capacity of our military right now.
“Both Labor and the Liberals/Nationals have failed to build an Australian military that is able to defend us — and stop our grandchildren from becoming slaves to an aggressive, anti-democratic, totalitarian foreign power.”
Senator Lambie described as a “timely warning” Mr Palmer’s tirade on ABC television last night in which he called the Chinese government “mongrels” and “**bleep**s” who “want to take over this country” and who “shoot their own people
Senior government ministers warned of the damage to Australian trade and foreign relations, while West Australian Premier Colin Barnett said he would apologise for Mr Palmer’s “highly offensive” remarks.
Julie Bishop said she planned to tell the Chinese embassy Australia’s parliament did not share Mr Palmer’s “abusive” views.
Joe Hockey warned the PUP leader to avoid letting his personal disputes with Chinese partners “bring down the rest of Australia” when employers were trying to lift exports to the rising Asian economy.
Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce linked Mr Palmer’s outburst to the negotiations over the budget with the Palmer United Party, saying the remarks gave voters an insight into the dealings with the politician.
Labor called the remarks “unhelpful” and “unacceptable” while Shanghai Chamber of Commerce president Peter Arkell went further, labelling them “bizarre” and “dangerous”.
Mr Palmer lashed out at the Chinese government and Chinese companies during the ABC Q & A program last night when asked by host Tony Jones about allegations he used a $12 million payment from Chinese state-owned company Citic Pacific, meant to support a port operation, to pay for some of his election campaign.
“We’ve had three judgments in the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Western Australia and an arbitration against these Chinese mongrels,” he said of the business dispute.
“I’m saying that because they’re Communist, they shoot their own people, they haven’t got a justice system and they want to take over this country. And we’re not going to let them.”
