Oh, and a tripod is a must for macro photography.........When I shoot flowers, for example, I usually do it early in the morning, when the air is still...........

Thank you Band.
I've saved the first one under favourites so I can show Mr when he's home.
I knew they weren't cheap, we did look once in a shop here but I had no real idea what to look for...
Now I do and my camera is a Canon so that makes it easier for me.

Thanks Jake, I perused that sight many times before deciding to buy the lens. I ended up getting the latest model even though he suggested the previous one was the better one. Maybe I should have listened to him. ![]()

The camera I have is so bad that it says the blurry photo blinked if there's a wind of any kind. Plus it delays a half second at least when you take the photo.
Son is correct. Camera ________ .

Donnasks, what is the name of your camera, just for interest sake, sons can be quite scathing on what their mothers have. lol.
I have a Sony DSLR and I am going to stand in the corner with Pimpy because I really don't use it to the best of it's abilities either.
Tripod?. what's that? Oh yes, I do have one but always in to much of a hurry to get it out...
I don't have a "Macro" lense...I wish I had more lenses but alas hubby can't think why I want them, I could try and sweet talk my brother and ask could I please borrow one or two of his, just for testing purposes of course![]()

Pimpy, that collage is absolutely stunning - it would look amazing printed on canvas and framed.
