TTT I have never seen "icicle wasp nests" before.  Intriguing.  (Don't mind not seeing the wasps close upSmiley Very Happy)

DEB

I'm not sure but they seem abandoned and dried out now, they were the hive of activity a couple of months back and no way I wanted to get too close either!!

4T,i strongly suggest you eliminate the hives now,and maybe spray down the plants they were attached to with vinegar as early as possible. wasps, they HURT,you know?

we deal with them in the walnut trees, and the honeysuckle, about every 3 years. vinegar works pretty well.

taste my religion! nibble a witch! 😄

Sin I would love to get rid of them. I never knew they were there until my hubby pointed them out.

I don't even know the life cycle. That pic was from June and now its all seems to be abondoned and dry.

Does that mean no wasps?

Sorry to put up several in a row.  I have just got my "good" camera charged up and went a bit crazy in the back yard Smiley Embarassed
