Well, lets expand from chooks, given you now cannot buy Australian baked beans on the shelf at Coles that aren't made from Imported and Australian product (the fact that the Imported is listed first seems to infer it's more imported than local) .. lets figure out how to make the buggers ..

I am trying an experiment .. i'm now feeding my chooks layer mash on top of their grain and veg to see if that entices them to lay me some eggs.

Sing to them. Read the CS to them or get them to post. Show them pictures of roast chickens.

Actually I'm having a few eggs from the thin shelled chook. The eggs came good for a week. I've just put another mix of pollard, shell grit & canola

do you feed them the egg shells? You should if you don't . just crunch them up so they don't realise they're eggs, otherwise they'll eat the eggs once laid.
