Time Zone help needed

I just can't work them out -

I'm wanting to get together with a group of forum friends (not this one) from all over the world on Monday 9pm

Eastern time  - USA -   there's a scale of times in various places -    it says Australian Eastern Time (which is Melbourne where I am )  would be

Tuesday at 11 am.  But I don't know if this allows for summertime.

I've been to numerous sites but just get cross-eyed, lol.

can anyone help me out please?

Do you know exactly where they all are if they are in a country with different time zones?

If there are not too many you could wait until 9pm tonight and then google "current time Milwaukee" or "current time London"

Right at the top of the page it will tell you their current time.  Either that or you could do it now and work out the time difference.

I found this one easy to understand.

When I'm thinking about US times, I go on a very rough 7 hours in front of us, but the day before. So, it's 5 pm here (NSW) now on a Saturday, and 12 midnight in LA on a Saturday morning. An hour ago it would have been 4 pm here, and 11 pm in LA - but the day before us.

LOL, does that make sense?

Hell no! LOL

Joono, go to my link and see the times in the various countries. On the left at the bottom is more information. So, you can see that it's 5:44 pm here, and 12:44 am in LA. But, US times are behind us ...

I like that time map Katy.  Very good.

I'm time challenged, Joono. My parents lived in the UK, my brothers live in Thailand ... it was/is difficult to keep track of them. And, then, I listen to the BBC ... 10 hours behind, I think, then there's NPR and DWR ... . keeping track of it all is a pain.

I like http://www.timeanddate.com You can use either Time Zone Converter or Meeting Planner.
Do you have an iPad or iPhone? The World Clock app on the inbuilt clock is good too.

LOL, Lurker ... I have a clock radio ...for listening to the radio at night. I wish I had something better ... much as I enjoy soccer, I do get fed up with listening to it.
