If you do not wish to debate, why on earth do you post on discussion forum?

I am near ROFL after reading this thread.

Halal means permissable/allowed.

Do Cadbury's support terrorism?

Halal certification is not mandatory, a competitive advantage is gained over companies with no Halal certification so I suspect it is a marketing strategy..............................

I think what is being suggested is that a tiny part of the price you pay for an Halal labelled product may  be paid to an official accreditation organisation, which may give a portion of it's profits to a charity umbrella organisation called Zakat, which may allocate a portion of that donation to a charity which may redirect part of its funds to terrorist organisations

I have been reading and thinking the same thing az.

What on earth do some of you people think halal actually means?? Do you really think it applies only to meat? And if halal funds terrorists groups (I can't stop laughing at this one) I am wondering how many of the halal labelled products are actually by companies owned by muslims? I suspect a figure so small you could count the number on one hand.

Why can't a person think before asking obvious questions like 'how can fruit be halal?'. Those shiny apples at the supermarket don't polish themselves you know lol.

Yes otherwise an awful lot of Aussies would be in prison because it is an offence to fund terrorist organisations, the whole accusation is ridiculous. Just more of the endless Islamaphobia.

Check your vegemite jars peeps, theres a Halal and a Kosher tax slapped on that baby lol

It should also be pointed out that KirraLee Smith = Rise Up Australia Party.

Remember her, the one nation candidate....as far as I know it is still before a court.

Stephanie Banister, a 27-year-old mother of two, is facing criminal charges after allegedly placing anti-Muslim stickers, like "Halal food funds terrorism", on Nestle products in a supermarket.

My kids last school sports day had a sausage sizzle.

All the sausages were Halal.

There were quite a few not impressed that that was the only option.

Now they are having another sausage sizzle this friday.  Halal chick sausages and non halal beef ones
