Hope the Princess enjoys her day, I am just back from FIL, he is very disoriented today and another resident hit him yesterday 😞 He is very sad this morning so I have spent an hour with him but all he wants is his favourite son, so I have just organised that 🙂
Later today I will go back and do his summer wardrobe clean out! and go shopping.

Bathurst 500/1000 re-enactment at the Princess' home. Crash helmets? Chequered flag/yellow flags. Support staff. ![]()
Well, the fruitbats have been around here lately. Their bomb-dam-busting-type flights have left streaks of "yucky stuff" (lifts off paint) that has to be washed down from the walls of the house.
Should be doing that now. Then watch Landline and Gardening Aust. Then ......Nana nap ......then.....????

Gorgeous rose Bushies girl. Here is one of my pink rose. I am having a problem with black spot and yellowing leaves on this one so any tips would be appreciated.
My other crimson rose got hit with heaps of yellowed leaves right after a day of heavy rain so I'm not sure whether they will come good with more sunshine or whether they need something else.

Beautiful roses. I love roses but only have one at the moment that planted itself. I hope to have a garden bed ready to be planted out with roses next winter.

No Bluecat. It's called Gruss an Aachen. It starts out quite pink and then as the flower ages it fades out a lot and is very light coloured.
I love the Peace rose.

I used to have a Peace rose, a Mr Lincoln, Blue Moon and a pretty pale pink David Austin one. We used to live opposite and elderly woman called Poor Old Hazel who reckoned that she had over 30 different types of roses growing. Every now and then she'd give my previous ex a bunch of beautiful roses to give me.
