I will tell you the reason why myself and possibly others have become more engaged in political threads. It's pretty simple.. We don't like the way Tony Abbott is running this country, don't approve of the proposed cuts in the Budget. Don't like Abbott full stop ( add Joe Hockey, Chris Pyne etc to that too.)

who cares who leads the labor party as long as they win the next election and start governing for the people of Australia instead of us having a govt that only cares about hanging onto power and will do absolutely anything, moral or not , to ensure that

The firsrt sentence of the opening post is about Shorten's (a politician) personal life from years ago. My post was about Abbotts (a politician) private life years ago.

I have already explained that, as far as I am concerned that is the 'same topic'. One of a few in the opening post.

Which differs vastly from going off topic and making totally baseless accusations about another poster, which accuse them incorrectly of contravening board usage rules. All based on a hunch they post more now in pollie threads. Now that is off topic.
